Due to popular demand, we’ve set another two dates for our training course! We had to do something about the growing waiting list!! Saturday 12th May, and Thursday 14th June, from 10am to 2pm. The places were snapped up last time, so if you’re interested, you need to be quick! We’ll make sure its a lovely day for all, with lots of useful information imparted in a straightforward manner. We’ll even supply plenty of tea and cake! It’s also a lovely gift for that special person in your life, who is a bit clueless with their camera!!

Modelling Competition – The Face of Ashbourne

Fancy frames at home!

It’s not often that I get to see the finished products actually in their new homes. I just delivered a new frame to one of my clients, and asked if I could take a few shots of all the beautiful photographs they had now they were hung and looking fab. Thanks for this Emma, it was lovely to get the guided tour from young Max and see all the photos in pride of place!

Here are some images that I love, taken at the stunning Tissington Hall. My gorg model Sophie was fabulous and looked just stunning in the dresses from Lori G in Allestree, and make up by Joanne Jewett. I did this shoot just for my own portfolio and was delighted with the results!

I was recently asked to do a bridal shoot at the lovely Lighthouse Restaurant in Boylestone who are introducing weddings. It’s a gorgeous intimate venue and I was lucky enough to be fed whilst there (always a highlight for me!) and the food was fab!

Basic Camera Skills Training Course

We’ve been asked so many times whether we do a basic camera skills course, that we thought, it was time we did! Here are the details for our first course on Thursday 19th April. The basic SLR camera skills training course will include lots of useful information, but basically concentrate on how to get your camera off the auto setting. We’ll cover things such as composition, focus and lighting, and also explain all about shutter speeds, apertures, ISO, noise, white balance. Book early as places are limited!

We recently did a fabulous bridal fashion shoot with Couture Bridal Design and Deborah Bennett hair and make up. Our stunning model Amy looks amazing in the beautiful creations by Maxine and Dawn and Deborah really did a fantastic job with hair and make up. The Sanctuary Restaurant in Saxondale Nottingham is a gorgeous eatery and caters for small, intimate weddings too!
